As a big fan of horror movies, I always appreciate a good anime dedicated to the zombie apocalypse, even if my choices are hella ecchi or cute girls doing cute things. Zom 100 is still… a little ecchi, but injects a whole lot of fun into the apocalypse. Furthermore, it remains so relatable to the beaten down working adult.

Where to Start The Zom 100 Manga After The Anime?
If you finished the first season of the Zom 100 anime and want to continue the story with the manga, you can do so at Chapter 22.
The anime adapts two of the three major chapters of Volume 6, wrapping up the extended Hometown of the Dead arc. You do still have another chapter as well as some bonus chapters left in Volume 6.

What To Expect From The Zom 100 Manga?
The Zom 100 anime is very dedicated to telling the manga story, skipping very little. The chapters are quite long, which usually allowed them to fill out most of an episode. The anime does, however, skip some of the omake chapters – which are often more comedic.
It’s not necessary to read the manga from the beginning, though it is worth going back and reading some of the omakes.
Is The Zom 100 Manga Over?
The Zom 100 manga is still ongoing. It started in 2019 and has featured a three-volume per year release schedule since it launched. This means there is still a lot to cross off this bucket list of the dead for you and Akira.
Will There Be a Zom 100 Season 2?
Unfortunately, there has been no confirmation of a Zom 100 Season 2 anime being in production.
Given the wild productions delays and ultimate hiatus of Zom 100, it definitely hurts its popularity. That said, it was made by a brand new studio, looked great, and maintained popularity despite a release hiatus. That can go a long way, so hope is not completely lost. It all comes down to sales, really. A hiatus made it more difficult to calculate how financially successful the anime was.
