Before My Hero Academia did it in a lighter, more digestible shounen package, Zetman was darkly bridging the gap between manga and Western comics. However, it did so bloodily and with probably more sexual assault than some people may have wanted.
Regardless, the anime took that concept and sort of fumbled with it until completion, so much so that many Zetman fans advocate that you purge it from memory.
Where To Start The Zetman Manga After The Anime?
The Zetman anime is technically a full adaptation of the manga, but it is a highly condensed version where the story is essentially just summarized and several details are changed.
It is highly recommended to read the series from the beginning because the anime made the rather unwise decision to wedge in 200+ chapters into 13 episodes of anime.
While much of the series differs, the anime does end in a similar way to the manga, however.
Is The Zetman Manga Over?
The Zetman manga is complete. It ended in 2014 with Chapter 226.
Will There Be A Zetman Season 2?
As Zetman is a full adaptation of the story, there will be no Zetman Season 2 anime. One could hope for a remake, but the series is both long-ended and lacks a mass audience appeal.
