What to Expect From The Your Forma Source Material Compared to The Anime?
You may think that Your Forma messed up in a big way by skipping the first novel, which would be the beginning of the story. However, the main plot in Your Forma doesn’t begin in earnest until the second novel. The first light novel, however, does really establish the character relationship between Echika and Harold in a major way that makes the scenes they did adapt in the anime a lot less impactful without the context.
The context the first novel provides is interesting, but not strictly important if you have followed the story thus far. I would definitely recommend reading the first novel, if not reading the series from the beginning, but is is not strictly necessary either.
Will There Be A Your Forma Season 2?
There has been no official announcement of a Your Forma Season 2 anime.
This series has some good bones, but I am not sure they pulled them off. We will see how Japanese audiences felt, though.
