Male friendship in anime tends to be portrayed as absurdist comedy or basic broship so it nice to see a softer, more normalized male friendship slice of life story presented in You and Me. While the series does make life a little more poetic and less monotonous than it usually is, it sure does make for a nice peaceful story.

Where To Start The You and Me Manga After The Anime?
If you finished both seasons of the You and Me anime and want to continue the story with the manga, you can start at Chapter 39 after Season 2.
What to Expect From The You and Me Manga?
You and Me is actually very faithful to the manga, but it does tell the story differently. The manga usually keeps a lot of the individual stories linear, but the anime often breaks up character stories and spreads them out in different episodes. The anime also re-arranges a lot of events for pacing and storytelling as well.
While the anime does add some anime-original moments as well as skips a few very small things, you don’t need to read the manga from the beginning unless you want to.
However, if you do read the manga from the beginning, you will notice that the story is told differently in the manga in how it arranges the events.
Is The You and Me Manga Over?
The You and Me manga is complete. It ended in 2022 with Chapter 103.
Will There Be A You and Me Season 2?
As the second season of You and Me came out in 2012, I’d say a third season is pretty unlikely at this point.
