World Trigger, the anime, gets a rough shake of things by being a slow burn shounen framed through an ordinary protagonist in a world of fast-paced shounen with “zero to hero” protagonists that fulfill a power fantasy for the audience. However, there are many who appreciate World Trigger for what it is and not what others want it to be.
Where To Start The World Trigger Manga After The Anime?
If you finished through season three of World Trigger and wish to continue the story with the manga, you can start at Chapter 196. The anime only adapts the first few pages of the chapter.
The anime adapts all chapters except the last chapter of Volume 22.
What to Expect From The World Trigger Manga?
While the anime does have some filler, it does actually do a good job adapting the events from the manga. Season 1 was the most filler-filled, and they became more diligent after that. There is no reason to read the World Trigger manga from the beginning unless you want to.
Is The World Trigger Manga Over?
The World Trigger manga is still ongoing. Since launching in 2013, it has slow release to one to two volumes per year after several health-related hiatuses from the author.
Will There Be A World Trigger Season 4?
There has been no official announcement of a World Trigger Season 4 anime.
The biggest hurdle in the way of another season of World Trigger is content. There would be technically enough content for another 12-episode season, but the place it would have to stop is not the cleanest stopping point for a season of anime. Furthermore, due to the author’s health issues, the World Trigger manga has had bumpy release schedule these past few years.
Given that it has already gotten three season, a fourth season seems possible, but will greatly depend on the manga.
