Personally, I’ll always remember Witch Craft Works for the big mommy energy that it brought to the main pairing. However, I also did enjoy that it was a magic school anime where about half the normal student body didn’t know that – including the main character.
With its good animation and surprisingly good OST, Witch Craft Works was carried to… Mediocrity?! It now sadly remains one of those good shows that people swiftly forgot about.

What to Expect From The Witch Craft Works Manga?
The Witch Craft Works anime did a pretty decent job at adapting the manga story. In fact, the only real thing you can fault the anime for is not being as beautiful as the manga art is.
Regardless, you don’t need to read the Witch Craft Works manga from the beginning unless you want to.
Is The Witch Craft Works Manga Over?
The Witch Craft Works manga is complete. It ended in 2022 with Chapter 118.
While the main story is over, the manga series Witch Craft Works Extra explores the “what happens after” for many of the characters. That manga series is ongoing, but slow going.
Will There Be A Witch Craft Works Season 2?
Given that the Witch Craft Works anime aired in 2014, I think a second season is not going to happen, particularly with its manga also completed.
