I had higher hopes for this anime because it seemed like an interesting concept and had a banger of a first episode. However, between its unclear plot and zero desire to introduce or explain its main characters, it ended up rather unimpressive outside of a few witch-based spectacles.
Where To Start The Witch and The Beast Manga After The Anime?

The anime technically only adapts part of Chapter 28, but the part it cut was because it cut a character.
What to Expect From The Witch and The Beast Manga?
While it does actually look nice enough at times, The Witch and The Beast is what you would call a lower budget adaptation because they cut a lot of quality from the scenes in the manga.
However, more damningly, the anime carved out a character, Misha, Guidaeu’s caretaker, from the anime. This means that if you did start at where the anime leaves off, you will be rather confused when she pops up later.
Honestly, because the anime was on a tight budget, I do recommend reading this manga from the beginning, but if nothing else,start at Chapter 10 where they carved out the first mention of Misha.
Is The Witch and The Beast Manga Over?
The Witch and The Beast manga is still ongoing. Since launching in 2017, it traditionally has released two volumes per year. However, the series has been on hiatus for much of 2023 and beyond due to the author’s health issues.
Will There Be A The Witch and The Beast Season 2?
The has been no official announcement of a The Witch and The Beast Season 2 anime.
While this series is one of those that would definitely benefit from another season story-building-wise, its first season was not excessively popular. That, combined with the fact that the manga is on hiatus, doesn’t give the series a high chance of getting another season.
