When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace took a common concept of school kids developing powers and made it into a comedy because there wasn’t actually any great evil to fight. Furthermore, they gave a chuunibyou an edgy, but ultimately pretty useless power that elevates his chuuni to levels never seen before!
It is unfortunate that this wildly enjoyable show was just a one-off, and not treated the way it deserved.
