Where To Start The Wakakozake Manga After The Anime?
If you finished the Wakakozake anime and want to continue the story in the manga, you can start at Chapter 3.
As you might have suspected, Wakakozake is kind of a short, sweet, slice of tasty life story with no strong linear plot. This means the anime was easily able to jump throughout the manga to adapt whatever chapters it wanted, skipping many. The anime does stick close to the first volume of manga, but does jump as far as Chapter 51.
The anime adapted the first two chapters and the third chapter was skipped, so that’s as good a point to start reading as any. The anime adapts the chapters it does cover extremely well and you don’t need to read them.
Is The Wakakozake Manga Over?
The Wakakozake manga is still ongoing. Since launching in 2011, it usually releases two volumes per year.
Will There Be A Wakakozake Season 2?
As the anime aired in 2015, and it hasn’t been heard from since, it seems there is no future for more Wakakozake anime.
