All in all, Unnamed Memory was a pretty bad adaptation.

Aside from Engi just being pretty terrible at animating action scenes, the anime sliced out a lot of the romance in this fantasy romance story. They cut out or cut short all the bits that were meant to develop the characters and develop their building romance in a way that invests you so you can push through the tougher parts of the light novel.

The anime turned a pretty good fantasy romance into something bland and almost laughably bad at moments with pacing problems throughout both seasons. You should read the Unnamed Memory light novels from the beginning.

Will There Be A Unnamed Memory Season 3?

There has been no official announcement of an Unnamed Memory Season 3 anime.

The main story is fully adapted, albeit not well, so I do wonder if they will do more.
