While it had somewhat of a bland start, Under Ninja grew greater as it went on. Especially after it firmly established the actual plot of the series. Those who dropped it after a few episodes are missing out on some brutal action that isn’t afraid to be comically weird while still wearing a completely serious face.

The anime sped through eight volumes of a manga that only has 11 volumes out. So even if the Under Ninja anime was popular enough to eventually receive a second season, they will need some more time before there is enough content to do so.
