I curse Hulu for dooming Undead Unluck to sub-par popularity because I haven’t enjoyed a shounen action anime as much as I did this one in over a decade.
At first I liked that it was weird and bloody in a fun way. Then I liked that it constantly outdid its ridiculous action. And before I knew it, I was so deeply invested in the characters that I was coming back each week excited to see more.

What to Expect From The Undead Unluck Manga?
Undead Unluck actually changed very little from the plot, but it did change a few things. The biggest changes were introducing things earlier than they were introduced in the manga, but the series did also skip a few small moments and add in some anime-original ones. Regardless, nothing was changed that would prevent you from carrying on with the manga.
You don’t need to read the Undead Unluck manga from the beginning unless you want to, but do prepare yourself for a series that moves super fast. The anime, by comparison, had a much slower pace.
