Where To Start The SYD Manga After The Anime?
If you finished the SYD anime and want to continue the story in the manga, you can start at Volume 1, Chapter 3.
SYD is a 4-koma manga, and while the anime adapted the first two chapters in the first episode, it immediately starts jumping throughout the manga with what chapters it is adapting after that. The anime essentially cherry-picks the chapters it wishes to adapt and adapts them in whatever order the studio felt like, so it is best to start at the beginning.
Do note that that the anime is both far more cinematic and the characters are more energetic than the manga. They also occasionally pad chapter stories out with anime-original content.
Is The SYD Manga Over?
The SYD manga is complete. It ended in 2021 with Volume 22, Chapter 641.
Will There Be A SYD Season 3?
There has been no official announcement of a SYD season 3.
The manga ended recently and there was an OVA released as late as 2020, so hope is not as dead as it may seem here.
