I enjoy food isekai anime because I enjoy food anime. While disappointed that Sweet Reincarnation wasn’t as focused on the food element as I thought it would be, it really was the best of both food and isekai. It was one of those perfectly serviceable isekai anime that you can’t really hate unless you just hate isekai.
