Snack Basue was my “hot take, this anime was actually good” pick of the season. However, as it was very Japanese style comedy and definitely comedy that laser-targeted adults with disappointing lives like myself, I can see how it wasn’t for everyone.
Where To Start The Snack Basue Manga After The Anime?

What to Expect From The Snack Basue Manga?
Due to Snack Basue’s plot structure, it can have some linear elements in the terms of introducing re-occurring characters, but it is a story that is easy to adapt out of order. Snack Basue doesn’t jump around as much as it could have, but you will definitely see some chapters later. Past Chapter 29 is where they started skipping a significant block of chapters, so that is the best start point.
While it skipped parts, you don’t need to go back and read them unless you want to.
Is The Snack Basue Manga Over?
The Snack Basue manga is still ongoing. Since launching 2018, it releases two or three volumes per year.
Will There Be A Snack Basue Season 2?
There has been no official announcement of a Snack Basue Season 2.
While Snack Basue has very Japanese-style comedy and probably was more well liked in Japan than it was in the West, it also isn’t a particularly marketable or memorable series. For as much as I enjoyed it, I really don’t think it will get a second season.
