Skip and Loafer is such a unique experience. It seems like its going to be a romance and continues to subvert that expectation all the time. It’s a coming-of-age drama, but a crazy positive one. It’s got a bland looking main character who is really just a joy to watch. Positive trans representation without focusing intensely on the character? So unique. So good. It was really the unexpected treat of the season.
