Servamp is one of the many vampire anime series that sort of blends together into a great blood-sucking mass. Unfortunately, its not really Servamp’s fault in this case. It is yet another case of a pretty good manga getting a not so great anime adaptation.
Where To Start The Servamp Manga After The Anime?
If you finished the Servamp anime and wish to continue the story with the manga, you can technically start at Chapter 39.
The Servamp movie, Alice in the Garden, is canon and covers content that the anime skipped. Watching it does not change where you would start the manga.
What to Expect From The Servamp Manga?
Servamp is a series that you would be better off reading from the beginning.
The anime abridges the story greatly and commits the cardinal sin of anime adaptations – cuts characters who will be important later. If you can just accept that some characters will be used without being introduced, then you can still start at the start point, but you would greatly benefit from reading the story from the beginning.
Is The Servamp Manga Over?
The Servamp manga is still ongoing. Since launching in 2011, it has usually released about two volumes per year.
It has been announced that the Servamp manga will end with Volume 23, which will, pending any delays, come out at the end of 2024.
Will There Be A Servamp Season 2?
As the Servamp anime cut a lot of characters and wasn’t especially popular, a Servamp Season 2 anime is unlikely. It would be very difficult to retcon what they did with the cut characters as well.
