This new era of boy’s love where they act like actual people and not horny animals? Well, I am here for it. However, boy’s love or not, Sasaki and Miyano does a fantastic job of adapting what its like to fall in love for the first time.
Where To Start The Sasaki and Miyano Manga After The Anime?
If you are looking to pick up the Sasaki and Miyano manga after the anime, you can do so at Chapter 34. If you have watched the Sasaki and Miyano movie -Graduation Arc- , which is a canon story. After the movie, you would instead start at Chapter 41.
The anime adapts through all of Volume 6. The movie adapts all of Volume 7 and one of three total chapters in Volume 8. (There are several other side stories that fill out the rest of the volume, so it is not just three chapters.)

What to Expect From The Sasaki and Miyano Manga?
Overall, the Sasaki and Miyano anime adapts all the “key moments” of the relationship and major plot points. However, it does skip a lot of small moments, side stories, and jokes – which makes going and re-reading the manga worth it. If you just want to see what happens next, you are fine to jump on in at Chapter 40. However, there is some worth to reading the series from the beginning.
Is The Sasaki and Miyano Manga Over?
The Sasaki and Miyano manga is still ongoing. Since launching in 2016, Sasaki and Miyano usually only manages to push out a single volume per year.
Sasaki and Miyano also has a spin-off manga called Hirano and Kagiura that follows the titular characters and their relationship prior to the start of the Sasaki and Miyano series. The Hirano and Kagiura manga is ongoing, but only manages about a volume per year since launching in 2019. There was also a short movie for it, but by “short,” they mean it was 8 minutes long and not worth hunting down.
Will There Be A Sasaki and Miyano Season 2?
As the movie adapts 40 chapters of a series that, as of December 2023, only has 46 chapters, there won’t be any more Sasaki and Miyano anime for a long time.
However, given that it was popular enough to receive a movie despite limited chapters available, you may get more movies in the future.
