Where To Start The Royal Tutor Manga After The Anime?
If you finished The Royal Tutor anime and want to continue the story in the manga, you can start at Volume 6, Chapter 36.
The anime adapts some of this chapter, but not all of it. It chose to cut the chapter short in lieu for an anime-original ending. The movie is also an anime-original story.
What to Expect From The Royal Tutor Manga?
For the first six episodes of the Royal Tutor, the anime is great! It adapts the chapters well and doesn’t really skip over anything. After that , though, the anime starts committing a lot of anime adaptation sins.
After episode six, the Royal Tutor anime starts skipping sizable chunks of chapters, re-arranging some chapters, cutting out some more minor characters, and injecting anime-original content, like Episode 11 which was fully anime-original.
This greatly alters the tone of the story and shifts the story focus from the princes to Heine himself.
I would recommend reading the manga from the beginning considering it does skip huge chunks of plot. However, if you absolutely don’t want to, starting at Chapter 11 would be best since the anime starts skipping story after that.
