I’ve long given up holding isekai to the same quality of storytelling I expect from other genres, which is probably what enabled me to enjoy Re:Monster as much as I did. I guess, sometimes it is just pretty amusing to watch a dude, or in this case, a goblin scale his life wildly and go from weak mob monster to harem-having, mercenary village-wielding super ogre in like… his first four months of life.

Where To Start The Re:Monster Light Novel After The Anime?
If you finished the Re:Monster anime and wish to continue the story with the light novel, you can start at Novel 3.
The anime starts to freestyle a lot of events near the end of Novel 3, so it would just be easier to read it so you can have a smoother transition going forward.
Is The Re:Monster Light Novel Over?
The Re:Monster light novel is complete. It ended in 2017 with Novel 10.
However, the series continued on in Re:Monster: The Dark Continent. This sequel light novel series is still ongoing. After starting in 2018, it releases a novel every few years.
Where To Start The Re:Monster Manga After The Anime?
If you finished the Re:Monster anime and wish to continue the story with the manga, you can start at Chapter 48.
The anime adapts one chapter of nine total chapters in Volume 6.
Do note that the battle with Ogrekichi was moved up in the anime, so you will see it happen in the manga after this start point. However, it skips story in between that.
Is The Re:Monster Manga Over?
The Re:Monster manga is still ongoing. Since launching in 2015, it releases one volume per year.
What to Expect From The Re:Monster Source Material Compared to The Anime?
The Re:Monster anime is honestly pretty messy compared to both the light novel and manga. The series changes a number of events as well as has a few pacing issues with what it does present.
As Re:Monster is a story told day-by-day, re-arranging events, like scooting up the Gobkichi/Ogrekichi/Minokichi fight which happened a bit later in the light novel/manga, throws off the daily events a bit.
I really recommend reading either the Re:Monster light novel or manga from the beginning. Both are quite a bit better in terms of quality compared to the anime, and you get the story in a better paced, more detailed way.
As usual, the light novel has the most details about the world and the power system, but the manga does a pretty good job telling the story and does so in a nice visual way.
Will There Be A Re:Monster Season 2?
There has been no official announcement of a Re:Monster Season 2.
Unfortunately, fans of the series were less than pleased with the anime adaptation, which might mean it will not be profitable enough to merit making more.
