Where Does The Rave Master Anime End in The Manga?

I’ll admit that it took so long to get this done because, as a Toonami kid, I never actually saw the ending of Rave Master when it was airing on there back in the age where I couldn’t just watch an anime online. Even then, Rave Master seemed like one of those series where they freestyle the source material and wedge in a lot filler, but it actually ended up being a pretty good adaptation, even better if you didn’t watch the heavily altered dub.

Where To Start The Rave Master Manga After The Anime?

You can pick up the Rave Master manga after the anime at Chapter 95.

The anime adapts six chapters of the nine total chapters in Volume 12.

What to Expect From The Rave Master Manga?

While the anime did various arcs at a pretty quick pace, it stayed surprisingly true to the source material and only adapted what turns out to be a drop in the bucket of the story.

All that said, watching subbed for the last bit of Rave Master made it clear there is quite the stark difference in quality from what I saw as a kid. The Rave Master dub rearranged scenes, wedged in more silly jokes than the manga, and also changed attack/weapon names. So if you watched the dub of the series, expect a shift in tone and some different names due to censorship.

Is The Rave Master Manga Over?

The Rave Master manga is complete. It ended in 2005 with Chapter 298.

Will There Be A Rave Master Season 2?

As an anime from 2002, I think the days of a Rave Master Season 2 have long past. However, you can see a lot of this series in Hiro Mashima’s other series, Fairy Tail and Edens Zero.
