Where To Start The Quintessential Quintuplets Manga After The Anime?
If you finished the Quintessential Quintuplets anime and want to continue the story in the manga, you can start at:
- If you finished The Quintessential Quintuplets Season 1 anime – You can start the manga at Volume 5, Chapter 33
- If you finished The Quintessential Quintuplets Season 2 anime – You can start the manga at Volume 11, Chapter 87
- If you finished The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie – The movie adapted through Volume 14, Chapter 122, which is the official end of the manga. Chapter 123 was a bonus released with the movie, however.
The “The Quintessential Quintuplets~” OVA is canon and covers some chapters that were skipped in Season 2. Technically, it takes place before the movie and even leads into the movie a bit at the end.
The “The Quintessential Quintuplets*” OVA, however, is fully anime original and takes place after the movie.
As of the movie, The Quintessential Quintuplets is a complete adaptation. It has now been added to my list of anime that are full manga adaptations.
What to Expect From The Quintessential Quintuplets Manga?
The first season of the Quintessential Quintuplets anime was quite the diligent adaptation of the manga, and skipped very little. However, Season 2 as well as the movie significantly sped up the pace and trimmed off a few storylines and moments.
There is a sizable chunk of people who recommend that, if you enjoyed the series, you should read it from Chapter 33 where the first season ended to get the full story experience. As there is no more manga to enjoy after the movie adapted the ending, that may be valid advice to you if you are still craving more.
