Where Does The Plunderer Anime End In The Manga?

I didn’t have much of a problem with Plunderer’s use of ecchi comedy, but what did rub me the wrong way was that the series didn’t really manifest its plot, or “get good,” until like nine episodes in. As such, I can see why people had such a diverse array of opinions on the series in this age where most people judge if they will continue an anime after the first three episodes.

What to Expect From The Plunderer Manga?

You will find that the anime and manga are actually quite similar in the story, but the anime definitely struggled with storytelling and pacing things out. The manga tells a more focused story (with still plenty of silly ecchi comedy) and more detailed action. If you already like Plunderer the anime, you will be fine moving right into the manga and will likely only fall deeper in love with the series. So there is no need to read it from the beginning unless you want to.

Unfortunately, there has been no official announcement of a Plunderer Season 2 anime.

Plunderer, because it did take so long to get going, wasn’t so well received, which is a shame because the best bits of the series are left without an anime where they could shine.
