Where To Start The Outlaw Star Manga After The Anime?
While Outlaw Star is indeed based off a manga, that manga never got finished. In fact, after Episode 5 of the anime, it is no longer adapting any manga story because it surpassed it.
So where can you start the Outlaw Star manga after the anime? Nowhere.
Should you read it from the beginning? If you’d like, but it is much like the anime. There is just less of it.
Is The Outlaw Star Manga Over?
The Outlaw Star manga is complete at Volume 3, Chapter 17. However, Chapter 18 through 21 were created, ran in a manga magazine, and never officially published in a volume.
Interesting side note, Outlaw Star is considered a side story in the universe of the author’s other manga, Future-Retro Hero Story (Uchuu Eiyuu Monogatari), which has no anime adaptation.
