The Ouran High School Host Club anime is great, as many people will agree, but it is just a drop in the pond when it comes to content. If you enjoyed the story told in the anime, then there is a lot more left to enjoy with the manga. Even if the anime-original ending made it seem like there might not be.

However, because an otherwise great adaptation starts to get spotty near the end to leave room for its anime-original ending, it might be better to start at the beginning of the arc at least, which would be Chapter 32.
