I attribute it to being an anime fan of a more advanced age, but I feel so conflicted by every anime Studio Bind adapts. Like Jobless Reincarnation, Onimai had a great story with interesting if not lovable characters. And like Jobless Reincarnation, there was a bunch a uncomfortable ecchi with young kids. So, I am conflicted about Onimai, but you’re not here for that!

Where To Start The Onimai Manga After The Anime?
If you finished the Onimai anime and wish to continue with the manga, you can start at Chapter 39, technically.
What to Expect From The Onimai Manga?
The Onimai anime enjoyed jumping all around the manga. For example, the last episode of the anime was technically from Chapter 18. So, you will find that it also skipped some chapters. If you did enjoy Onimai, because it does skip some chapters and change things that wouldn’t have worked as well in anime form, I really recommend reading it from the beginning.
Is The Onimai Manga Over?
The Onimai manga is still ongoing. Since launching in 2018, it usually releases one to two volumes per year.
Will There Be A Onimai Season 2?
There has been no official announcement of an Onimai Season 2 anime.
While the series seemed reasonably popular, the there would also only technically be just enough content for another season at the rate it adapts chapters. As such, you may be waiting a bit for a Season 2 just to let the Onimai manga get a bit further along.
