While Okitsura doesn’t have much of a linear plot, the progressing relationship developments kept the anime from re-arranging the manga chapters too much. However, the Okitsura anime does re-arrange some chapters and skips a handful of chapters.

These skipped chapters do have more Okinawa fun facts, but don’t actually contribute much to any relationship developments. As such, you don’t need to read the Okitsura manga from the beginning unless you just want to.
