Studio Shaft is known to enhance what they adapt, even at the cost of greatly changing it at points. I don’t know if that can be said here.

Where To Start The Natsu no Arashi Manga After The Anime?
- If you finished the Natsu no Arashi Season 1 anime – You can start the manga at Volume 4, Chapter 19.
- If you finished the Natsu no Arashi Season 2 anime – You can start the manga at Volume 5, Chapter 26.
The second season was far less diligent with adapting the manga, you will want to start where Season 1 ended. Though, just starting from the beginning is not a bad idea for this series either.
What to Expect From The Natsu no Arashi Manga?
Overall, it’s safe to call Natsu no Arashi a pretty poor adaptation of the manga. Studio Shaft is known for taking its liberties with artistic direction when it comes to adapting various stories, but it took more liberties than usual here, to the point where some episodes are only “vaguely familiar” to chapters in the manga. They cut a lot of canon manga content for meta jokes and filler.
The second season was particularly bad. The manga transitions to a more serious note at the end, and the anime apparently did not want to do that, so it just stuffed the second season full of silly anime-original filler.
I would recommend reading this series from the beginning, or where Season 1 ended, if nothing else.
Is The Natsu no Arashi Manga Over?
The Natsu no Arashi manga is complete. It ended in 2010 with Volume 8, Chapter 50.
Will There Be A Natsu no Arashi Season 3?
As the second season aired in 2009, and there has been no word since, I’d say there is no chance for a Natsu No Arashi Season 3 anime.
