I felt like there was a chance that this series could turn pretty gross at any second, but thankfully it remained wholesome and earned my trust. I also enjoy that it addresses the “they’ll never have grandchildren” of it all with his parents as well as a few more logistical concerns about their relationship.

Aside from shaving off the last bit of the final chapter it covered for pretty obvious reasons (they had to end an anime and not start another plot line), My Wife Has No Emotion skipped very little. You missed a few small moments and jokes, but otherwise you don’t need to read the manga from the beginning unless you want to.
