After so many isekai series, it is actually pretty refreshing to see a fantasy anime that is not one. Furthermore, the Misfit of Demon King Academy was a pretty fun romp overall! I don’t actually have a ton of passionate feelings about it, but I didn’t hate either the anime or the light novel.
