There’s good bones in here, I am sure of it. However, the anime makes you feel a bit like you’re going crazy with how much it just plain old skips in the story.

Where To Start The Magical Warfare Light Novel After The Anime?

If you finished the Magical Warfare anime and want to continue the story in the light novel, you can technically start at Novel 8, but it is not recommended.

The Magical Warfare anime is an adaptation of the light novel in that sometimes it takes a plot point and uses it, but the anime isn’t really adapting the story very well. So much of the story is changed or just plain skipped that jumping into the light novels at Novel 8 would be very confusing.

This is a series you would want to read from the beginning.

The Magical Warfare light novel is complete. It ended in 2015 with Novel 12.

Where To Start The Magical Warfare Manga After The Anime?

While Magical Warfare has a manga series, that manga series isn’t really an adaptation of the light novel, nor does the anime follow it. Essentially, the Magical Warfare manga works with the events of about the first five light novels, but is mostly just using the characters in a “similar, but different” story.

So, reading the Magical Warfare after the anime or as a substitute for the light novel is not really something you can do.

Will There Be A Magical Warfare Season 2?

As the Magical Warfare anime aired in 2014 and is now legendary for having one of the worst endings of all time, I don’t think they are making more.
