The first two movies are just compilation films of the TV anime’s first season. You don’t need to watch them.
What to Expect From The Made in Abyss Manga?
The Made in Abyss anime adapts the core story of the series well. It doesn’t skip much, but it does still cut out a fair bit. Honestly, there are a lot more messed up moments in the manga that didn’t make it into the anime.
