Where To Start The Lunar Legend Tsukihime Manga After The Anime?
The Lunar Legend Tsukihime anime is technically a complete adaptation of the manga. It covers the full story of the 10-volume manga series that was spawned from the original visual novel.
However, while a complete anime adaptation, Lunar Legend Tsukihime is renowned as a legendarily bad one. If you don’t like visual novels, the manga is a very solid adaptation. It is recommended that you read it from the beginning if you enjoyed the anime.
All that said, Lunar Legend Tsukihime does have a sequel manga series that you can explore called Melty Blood, which is a manga adaptation based on a fighting game.
If you finished the Lunar Legend Tsukihime anime/manga, you can explore the story of the characters more in the Melty Blood manga.
Why Do People Call The Lunar Legend Tsukihime Anime Bad?
The Lunar Legend Tsukihime anime almost completely changes the horror/mystery tone that the series was supposed to have as well as stretches the series out with filler since its wasn’t quite long enough to be a full anime series.
Really, it is the change in tone and the rather lackluster animation that caused fans who really enjoyed the visual novel to hate the anime a bunch.
Is The Lunar Legend Tsukihime Manga Over?
Both the Lunar Legend Tsukihime manga and its sequel manga, Melty Blood, are complete. Lunar Legend Tsukihime ended in 2010 with Chapter 74 while Melty Blood ended in 2011 with Chapter 66.
Will They Remake The Lunar Legend Tsukihime Anime?
The Nasuverse/Type-Moon medium is thriving with “Fate/” being as enduringly popular as ever and Garden of Sinners remembered well. Furthermore, they recently started remaking the Lunar Legend Tsukihime visual novel in Japan, so a remake of the anime has never been more possible – but still has not been announced.
Giving further hope, UfoTable has announced that they are working on a Witch on the Holy Night movie, which would explore the link between Garden of Sinners and Lunar Legend Tsukihime. So there is a some potential for – if not a remade anime series – a remake of Lunar Legend Tsukihime through movies.
