Where To Start The Lucky Star Manga After The Anime?
If you finished the Lucky Star anime and wish to continue the manga, the only answer is to start at Chapter 1.
Each Lucky Star chapter is… about two pages long, and the anime skips a lot of them. It also skips around with the chapters it does adapt, both expanding, changing, and omitting things along the way.
While Lucky Star is plotless, there’s also really no good place to jump into the manga without missing things.
The anime doesn’t adapt much in Volume 4 and beyond (Volume 4 is Chapter 88 through Chapter 124), so if you really aren’t interested in starting from the beginning, that would probably be your best jumping in point.
Do note that Episode 24 and the OVAs are both anime-original.
Is The Lucky Star Manga Over?
The Lucky Star manga is technically ongoing, but it hasn’t released a new volume since 2014 and no one expects it to.
The author also started a new spin-off/sequel in 2022 called Lucky Star: Konata 30, which is set 15 years after the original manga and shows what all those weebs are up to.
Will There Be A Lucky Star Season 2?
Lucky Star had it’s great heyday, but that was in 2007. I don’t expect it to return, especially since the manga was abandoned.
