By Request! It feels like the older romance anime that we loved always ended up actually being kind of difficult anime adaptations. The changes they made were good for the anime, but made switching to the manga difficult. Lovely Complex, a refreshing story about two big dorks that only refuse to date each other for relatable physical differences, is unfortunately one of those anime adaptations.
Where To Start The Lovely Complex Manga After The Anime?
The Lovely Complex anime actually did end with the last events of the manga, but done in a very less detailed way. Unfortunately, to get to that point, it skipped a lot of chapters, so if you just wanted to see the ending – you’ve seen it. However, if you want to see actually how they got there, you can in the manga.
Outside of the quickly done end chapter, the Lovely Complex anime stops at Chapter 47 of the manga. However, while it skips the content from chapters 48 through 61 in full, it started skipping chapters before that too.
For even more detail, I would recommend starting at Chapter 32. The anime starts getting more spotty at what chapters it adapts after that.
Is The Lovely Complex Manga Over?
The Lovely Complex manga is complete. It ended in 2007 with Chapter 68. There is also a manga titled Lovely Complex Two, but that is side stories and not a sequel.
Will There Be A Lovely Complex Season 2?
You don’t adapt the last chapter of your source material if you intend to continue the anime. As such, there will be no more Lovely Complex anime unless they reboot it someday.
