However, if you do want to pick up the Land of the Lustrous manga after the anime, I highly recommend doing so at Chapter 30. Technically, the events end at Chapter 36, but everything is rather spottily adapted around that ending arc in the anime.
What to Expect From The Land of the Lustrous Manga?
I’ve found that the Land of the Lustrous manga was particularly difficult to pick up after the anime. It is just the way the story and action flow in the manga that makes it something you need to get used to from the beginning, I think.
Outside of that, however, the Land of the Lustrous anime adapted the story well.
