Konosuba charmed fans by not only being an isekai before isekai was “cool,” or at least before isekai was “over-saturated and a same-y mass,” but Konosuba was also one of the first isekai anime to parody the concept. Luckily, if you need more laughs, picking up the Konosuba light novel or manga after the anime is a pretty painless affair.

Where To Start The Konosuba Light Novel After The Anime?
If you have finished through Season 3 of the Konosuba anime and want to continue the series with the light novel, you can start After Konosuba Season 3 at Novel 8.
Do note that the Konosuba movie is canon, and thus is required watching. It adapts the end of Novel 4 and all of Novel 5. The first episode of the third season also adapts what the movie left out of Novel 5.
The movie may be canon, but the OVAs are all anime-original content.
As for the spin-off series, Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World following Megumin, that was a full adaptation of the corresponding spin-off light novel.
Is The Konosuba Light Novel Over?
The Konosuba light novel is complete. It ended in 2020 with Novel 17.
Where To Start The Konosuba Manga After The Anime?
Konosuba also has a manga series. You can pick up the Konosuba manga after Season 3 of the anime at Chapter 80.
The anime adapts through Volume 13.
As for the spin-off series, Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World following Megumin, that was a full adaptation of the corresponding spin-off manga.

What to Expect From The Konosuba Source Material Compared to The Anime?
True to the spirit of the series, the Konosuba anime adapts the Konosuba light novel like it was on drugs. Jokes aside, the anime skips all over the light novels in order to adapts the major events of this often overly plotless series. As such, it can make starting the light novel story after the anime a little more jarring of an experience.
However, as Konosuba is mostly jokes at first and the anime does loosely adapt the major plot points, you can still technically pick up the light novel and don’t need to read it from the beginning. However, you would have a smoother transition if you did as well as get a bit of new content in the moments they skipped.

There has been no official announcement of a Konosuba Season 4.
They brought this series back from the dead with Season 3, so who knows at this point.
