There is, perhaps unfortunately, a lot of incest content lurking around anime, but much of it is either taboo romance knowing full well you are into the taboo or used for comedy. Koi Kaze, to this day, remains unique in that it comes at the topic in a more serious, surprisingly thoughtful way.

Where To Start The Koi Kaze Manga After The Anime?
The Koi Kaze anime is technically a full adaptation of the short, five volume manga. However, the final six chapters of the manga were sped through in the final episode that essentially just summarized the entire conclusion of the story.
It is strongly recommended that if you watched the Koi Kaze anime that you go read the manga starting from Volume 5, Chapter 29 to see the ending in full, if not read it from the beginning.
What to Expect From The Koi Kaze Manga?
While Koi Kaze’s final volume of manga being condensed into a single episode is its biggest problem, it is not the anime adaptation’s only problem.
Essentially, the Koi Kaze anime condensed the entire story so it could be done in one season. What was cut from the anime and reduced was the side character stories and their involvement in the main story. This doesn’t necessarily mean that you need to read the manga from the beginning, but if you do read the final volume, there may be side character moments that you don’t understand as they were not in the anime.
If you did enjoy Koi Kaze, it is definitely worth it to read this manga from the beginning due to how condensed the story was in the anime, but not strictly necessary.
