Where To Start The Kengan Ashura Manga After The Anime?
If you have watched season one and season two, part one of the Kengan Ashura anime and wish to continue the story with the manga, you can pick up the series at Chapter 182.
What to Expect From The Kengan Ashura Manga?
While the biggest flaw with Kengan Ashura is probably the animation, they do cut out characters and smaller parts of the story. While Kengan Ashura’s appeal is like Baki’s in that you usually just come to see muscle pound each other to paste, Kengan Ashura does have more plot going on in it.
That said, the plot points the anime cuts as well as the characters are not too terribly important to the overall plot, but it definitely does give more merit to reading the manga from the beginning. Although, reading it from the beginning is not strictly necessary.
Is The Kengan Ashura Manga Over?
The original Kengan Ashura manga is complete. It ended in 2018 with Chapter 256. However, there is also a lengthy and ongoing sequel series, Kengan Omega that releases about four volumes per year.
Will There Be A Kengan Ashura Season 3?
Kengan Ashura Season 2 was actually a two-part season, so Season 2 is technically not done yet. While Kengan Ashura Season 2 Part 2 has been confirmed to air in August 2024.
