The KamiKatsu anime didn’t really skip anything major, but it did pick and choose how it adapted some events. In essence, the manga is actually usually a bit more degenerate than the anime is. Is that worth reading from the beginning for? Not really, but you can if you like the laughs over the plot.

Will There Be A KamiKatsu Season 2?
The thing that stands in the way of a KamiKatsu Season 2 anime is a lack of content. The anime worked through seven volumes of a series that only has eight volumes as of the end of 2023. So it will take years before it has enough content for more anime.
