Where Does The Inuyasha Anime End In The Manga?

Inuyasha was, personally, a rather large part of my childhood – Perhaps because it was so lengthy and I had nothing better to do. However, what made Inuyasha hit so good was the fact that it was an action anime, but with no small emphasis on romance.

Action anime these days tends to be action anime and romance is sometimes a part, but never a co-star. Inuyasha treated both genres with equal hands, making it accessible to boys that liked the fights and girls that liked romance.

Where To Start The Inuyasha Manga After The Anime?

Getting into the Inuyasha manga after the anime is complicated. The original Inuyasha anime meandered into filler before finally being canceled. The series was then revived with Inuyasha: The Final Act anime, and while that does adapt to the end of the manga, it speed-runs the remaining story content.

It would be easiest to read the original Inuyasha manga from the beginning, but you can technically start the Inuyasha manga after the original anime ending at Chapter 356.

The anime adapts seven chapters of the ten total chapters of Volume 36.

I recommend starting there if you want to move into the Yashahime sequel even if you did watch The Final Act because that series does leave a lot out. Although the Yashahime sequel does actually add in a bit of what The Final Act left out in flashbacks, which was interesting.

Where To Start The Yashahime Manga After The Anime?

The Yashahime anime started as an original anime creation. While it has a manga, the manga series was created after the anime. The manga also is handled by a new author, though still receive input from original author Rumiko Takahashi.

That said, the Yashahime manga is actually is a bit different from the Yashahime anime in a lot of moments. This makes it worth reading if you enjoyed the sequel anime, but you would need to start from Chapter 1.

Is The Inuyasha Manga Over?

The Inuyasha manga is complete. It ended in 2008 with Chapter 558.

The Yashahime manga is still ongoing. Since launching in 2021, it has released about two volumes per year. It has also been stated that as of May 2024, the Yashahime manga is entering its “final battle,” so it is close-ish to ending.

Will There Be A Yashahime Season 3?

There has been no official announcement of a Yashahime Season 3.

While new enough to still be a possibility, Inuyasha fans, in general, didn’t love the new series for various reasons. As such, it may not have been profitable enough to continue.
