What to Expect From The Infinite Dendrogram Source Material Compared to The Anime?
There is a reason that Infinite Dendrogram feels a bit lackluster as an anime, and that reason is because it condensed five light novels into 12 episodes of anime. When you do that, you really only just have time for a soulless summary of events.
It is strongly recommend to read the Infinite Dendrogram light novels or manga from the beginning to get a better and more complete version of the story. While you get better world building and character interactions, there is also some plot-relevant stuff that the anime skipped.
