The anime is a very solid adaptation of the source material. As the series often dwells in the cute, it did leave some smaller shenanigans out from the light novel out of the anime, but nothing that merits having to read it from the beginning if you just want to see what happens next.
Unfortunately, there is only one additional chapter in the manga that takes place after the events of the anime. So there isn’t much more story content to enjoy there, as well as the fact that translations are well behind even that.
