Where To Start The I Have A Crush At Work Manga After The Anime?
If you finished the I Have A Crush At Work anime and want to continue the story with the manga, you can start at Volume 8, Chapter 77.
They adapted some of Chapter 77, but not all of it. This series skipped enough chapters that you’d highly want to consider reading it from the beginning.
What to Expect From The I Have A Crush At Work Manga?
While the anime that they presented to non-manga fans was actually really enjoyable, the I Have A Crush At Work anime as an adaptation of the manga story is kind of a mess.
The main issue is that if it doesn’t have to do with the relationship progression of the main couple, they cut it out of the story. Side character stories are skipped completely, the more slice of life moments between the main couple are cut out, and even full characters are left out of the anime. All of that means that they absolutely sped through so many chapters it adapted, skipping full chapters, and only partially adapting so many chapters.
As it cuts out characters and side character stories, it means that just jumping into the I Have A Crush At Work manga after the anime will be confusing. So it would be my recommendation to read the manga from the beginning unless you are willing to just ignore that you missed a decent chunk of the manga story.
Is The I Have A Crush At Work Manga Over?
The I Have A Crush At Work manga is complete. It ended in 2023 with Volume 15, Chapter 148.
Will There Be A I Have A Crush At Work Season 2?
There has been no official announcement of a I Have A Crush At Work Season 2 anime.
Given the super quick rate they adapted through chapters and the manga’s recent completion, I would not get your hopes up for one. Both are not positive signs for a continued anime project.
