At first, I was a bit pissed at this series since it was made by the same studio that butchered the Berserk 2016 adaptation, and this series looked real nice. However, much like Berserk 2016, the animation went all wonky by the end. Millepensee – truly among the worst in the animation industry.
That aside, I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too was a unique attempt at doing something new with isekai, but it is still just more standard isekai tropes.
