Natsume Ono has such a distinct style to his art and storytelling that no matte how different in setting his series are, they all feel so innately “her style.” While The House of Five Leaves is no ACCA or even Ristorante Paradiso, it is a lovely slow and deliberate look at the less honorable side of the samurai era.

Where To Start The House of Five Leaves Manga After The Anime?
If you finished the The House of Five Leaves anime and want to continue the story with the manga, you should start at Volume 3, Chapter 21.
That chapter is just after Episode 9 of the anime, but while The House of Five Leaves was a very faithful anime adaptation up through Episode 9, it made a number of changes and omissions to the next major arc that served as the remainder of the the anime. The cuts were likely made due to time constraints. Technically, the anime adapts events through Chapter 28.
Is The House of Five Leaves Manga Over?
The House of Five Leaves manga is complete. It ended in 2010 with Volume 8, Chapter 59.
You can also enjoy the prequel series, Futagashira, which is about Souji’s younger days. It is a complete series with 54 chapters.
There is also the single-volume spin-off Kozure Doushin about the childhood of Tachibana as well.
Will There Be A House of Five Leaves Season 2?
It is safe to say House of Five Leaves was probably not the show many people were expecting it to be, and it suffered from those expectations – badly. As such, a House of Five Leaves Season 2 is really not in the cards.
