Fitting 150 chapters into 12 episodes of anime should be a pretty good indicator that it is not a great anime adaptation. You get the core story, which is not particularly complex, but the anime does skip quite a bit.

It also has a sequel manga, High Rise Invasion Arrive, that completed in 2021 with Chapter 86.
Will There Be A High Rise Invasion Season 2?
While the anime aired in 2021 and there is still technically a chance for a Season 2 to be announced, it seems unlikely. The anime project was likely made to boost the sales of the then-wrapping up sequel manga, and generally wasn’t a particularly diligent adaptation, which is common in anime made more for marketing purposes.
