Where Does The Heaven’s Design Team Anime End In The Manga?

I love educational anime, and educational anime that is both educational and also entertaining at the same time is particularly great. While Heaven’s Design Team lived in a very low-popularity zone when it was released, it was actually pretty great for what it was.

I loved watching the show realistically go through why some animals can – and cannot – exist on Earth while also injecting tons of silliness in there. Shame they didn’t do platypus, though. I would have loved to see how they worked that one out.

Where To Start The Heaven’s Design Team Manga After The Anime?

The Heaven’s Design Team anime skipped around the first five volumes at its leisure. My recommendation as to where to start the Heaven’s Design Team manga after the anime would be Chapter 30.

The special 13^th episode that was released adapted Chapter 32 and Chapter 37, but the anime overall skipped Chapter 30 and Chapter 31.

The anime adapts two chapters out of seven total chapters in Volume 5.

There were definitely a few chapters skipped in the anime as well, and it may be worthwhile to go back and read the manga series from the beginning. However, as there isn’t much linear plot in this series, there is no particularly important reason to do so.

The Heaven’s Design Team manga is still ongoing. While still ongoing, it hasn’t released a new volume since 2022. I could not find an official announcement of hiatus or cancellation, however.

There has been no official announcement of a Heaven’s Design Team Season 2 anime.
