I always enjoy post-apocalyptic anime. I always enjoy mysterious series where it front loads questions and gradually reveals everything. Thus I liked Heavenly Delusion, even if it did feel like it spent too much time on just wandering sometimes.
Where To Start The Heavenly Delusion Manga After The Anime?
If you enjoyed the Heavenly Delusion anime and want to pick up the series with the manga, you can start at Chapter 33. It technically adapts a few more chapters after that, but I think they were running out of time, because they skipped big chunks of those chapters.
What to Expect From The Heavenly Delusion Manga?
The adaptation does leave a lot out, but the things it leaves out are mostly all the NSFW bits. So if you’d like to see those, then you should read the manga from the beginning. If not, just be aware that the manga will have more graphic moments and continue on.
Is The Heavenly Delusion Manga Over?
The Heavenly Delusion manga is still ongoing. Since launching in 2018, it releases between one to two volumes per year.
Will There Be A Heavenly Delusion Season 2?
There has been no official announcement of a Heavenly Delusion Season 2 anime, and there likely will not be for some time.
The anime ended about three volumes behind what was current with the manga at the time, adapting about half way through Volume 6. The manga will need some time in order to have enough content for another single cour anime season.
