Where To Start The Hare+Guu Manga After The Anime?
If you finished the Hare+Guu anime and want to continue the story in the manga, you can start at Volume 5, Chapter 43.
Please be sure you are reading the Jungle Guu manga, the actual manga named HareGuu is a sequel that is not adapted in the anime.
The Hare+Guu Deluxe OVAs go on to adapt later chapters and the Hare+Guu Final OVA does adapt chapters from the end of the manga, but both of them skip a number of chapters in between.
What to Expect From The Hare+Guu Manga?
The Hare+Guu anime is a good adaptation of the manga in that it isn’t skipping anything, but it is an adaptation that adds a decent amount of new content in. That said, the OVAs are a little worse than the anime as an adaptation because they leave a lot out.
If you just watched the TV anime without the OVAs, you will have no problem jumping into the manga. However, if you did watch the OVAs, you will see bits and pieces of content from those throughout the rest of the manga.
Is The Hare+Guu Manga Over?
The Jungle Guu manga is complete. It ended in 2002 with Volume 10, Chapter 100.3.
The HareGuu sequel manga is also complete. It ended in 2009 with Volume 10, Chapter 81.2.
Will There Be A Hare+Guu Season 2?
As Hare+Guu aired in 2001, it is safe to say there probably won’t be another season of anime at this point.
